NDIS SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION (STA)
If you are an adult with a disability, and are funded through the NDIS with Core Supports for Short Term Accommodation (STA), a stay at Bird’s Nest Studio will support your health and wellbeing. Bird’s Nest Studio is designed to provide a safe and supported environment for NDIS participants.
STA is a vital support under the NDIS because it’s designed to give participants a break from the stresses of day-to-day life whilst also promoting independence. It is available for up to 14 days at a time.
STA funding typically covers group rates, however, individual support is available with solid evidence of need. Bird’s Nest Studio is especially useful to participants with psychosocial or sensory disabilities for whom the sensory load of group accommodation can be prohibitively disabling.

At Bird’s Nest Studio, we understand, first hand, how important it is to take break, and the extraordinary benefits of self-care through nature. So we’ve taken the hard work out of it, and created a healing space just for you.
